94pts – The Wine Front, Gary Walsh

“I’d love to see more Cabernet Franc dominant wines coming out of Margaret River. 50 dozen made.  Raspberry, redcurrant, a rosy perfume, dried herb and coffee. Medium bodied, bright red fruit and blackcurrant, a slight earthiness and toasted oak, but lively wine at its core, with supple tannin and pleasing freshness. Finish is clean and long, really leaps up after the more subdued mid-palate, with gravelly tannin to close. It’s a beautiful thing.”
