Production: 138 dozen / 375ml bottles

Colour: Golden, pale straw.

Bouquet: Caramelised pears, candied pineapples, lime cordial and hints of jarrah honey on toast.

Palate: Apple and pear syrup in a glass! Luscious caramel notes work alongside tropical pineapple, guava and touches of ginger. Generously sweet with balanced acidity finishing bright with a lingering limey finish. A wine that can be enjoyed by itself before or after a meal or paired with salty and creamy cheeses.

Vinification: Coming off the hottest vintage on record the canes were cut on the 2nd of March and the berries dehydrated quickly with hand harvesting of the fruit on the 18th of March. The bunches were whole bunch pressed and the juice was cold settled in tank. The pristine clear juice was racked and inoculated with yeast to undergo fermentation in stainless steel. Once complete the fermentation was stopped to preserve sweetness and sent to 2 year old barrels for maturation of 9 months before filtration and bottling in November 2024.

2024 Vintage 9/10: After a dryer than average winter in 2023 the vines started growing 2 weeks earlier than normal in September. This set the stage for an early harvest and coincided with the hottest driest summer on record with 6 months without a drop. The vines were generously irrigated to improve quality thru days over 35c and the fruit was clean as a whistle. Harvest commenced 4 weeks earlier than average. An amazing Marri blossom kept the birds off the vines and netting was hardly needed. The resulting wines are very fruit intense with generous weight and structure. Fruit is exceptional.
