2006 Tasting Notes

The 2006 vintage was the coolest in Margaret River since 1982.  This year we chose to make a classic Australian blend of estate grown Cabernet and Shiraz which was hand plunged, basket pressed and matured in French oak barrels for 9 months.

It is a lighter style elegant wine, with the subtle spicy Shiraz and smooth Cabernet Sauvignon.  The 2006 Cabernet Shiraz (previously Storyteller) is to be shared with friends and a few stories.  Made for immediate enjoyment and can be cellared for up to four years.
